Snowmobile Stud Comparison: Fast-Trac Top Gun vs Woody's vs Stud Boy
This page lists the manufacturer-published specifications for the trail studs most riders compare: Fast-Trac Top Gun II and Top Gun SP, Woody's Gold Digger Traction Master and Grand Master, and Stud Boy Power Point and Power Point Plus. Every value links to the maker's own page so you can check it yourself. Where a manufacturer does not publish a specification, the cell says so.
Customer reviews follow each table. Fast-Trac reviews are per-product, verified-purchase reviews collected on this site by Judge.me. Woody's and Stud Boy do not publish per-product reviews on their own sites, so those columns link to their Google and Facebook ratings.
Two-ply tracks are the conventional construction on most Polaris, Arctic Cat, Yamaha, and older Ski-Doo sleds. Single-ply tracks are the lighter construction on most current Ski-Doo and Lynx trail sleds and require a stud with a larger head and a backer or support plate designed for the thinner track.
