How to measure the lugs on your snowmobile track

When it comes to measuring the lugs on your snowmobile track, there is a right way and a wrong way to do it.

The correct way to do it is by measuring the lug from the top of the track.  This will ensure you have the right measurement to determine your stud length.

With this knowledge you'll be well on your way to selecting your correct snowmobile stud kit!

Measuring a 1.352" Camso Cobra Track, notice how the lug measures 1.25"

Measuring a 1.352" Camso Cobra track.  Notice the top of the lug comes in at 1.25", Camso counts the nub as the overall length.  This is why we recommend our 1.375" Top Gun Stud to install on snowmobiles equipped with the 1.352" track and our 1.625" Top Gun Stud on the 1.6" Cobra track.
