How many studs for a 144 track
The 144 track is the staple of the Polaris Assault and many 2-up sleds. It’s an aggressive cross-over track that can handle many snow conditions found off and on trail. It’s not a common track for any newer Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo and Yamaha.
A 144 track has a 2.52” pitch (space between lugs) giving it 57 windows!
A 2 studs per row pattern is 114 studs.
A 3 studs per row pattern is 171 studs.
A 4 studs per row pattern is 228 studs.
The 2 per pattern is ideal for 600 and smaller engines.
The 3 and 4 per row pattern is common on the 600cc, and up. It offers great traction for those wanting to ride more aggressive.
