How many studs for a 136 track
The 136” track was the original cross over track. It was found on earlier stage cross over models and 2-up sleds. At one point it was even considered a mountain track! Times have changed a little bit. It’s not the most common track on new snowmobiles but you’ll find it on the occasional Polaris model and utility sled.
A 136” track has a 2.52” pitch (space between lugs) giving it 54 windows.
A 2 studs per row pattern is 108 studs.
A 3 studs per row pattern is 162 studs.
A 4 studs per row pattern is 214 studs.
2 per row is ideal for 600cc and below sleds. 3 and 4 per row is ideal for aggressive 600s and up.
